Building on Ecobodaa’s 2021 PREO-funded project, the company’s AI-powered Safiri SaaS platform uses IoT data from e-motorcycles to improve risk assessment and reduce loan defaults, making financing more accessible for boda boda riders in Kenya. With support from PREO, Ecobodaa are refining the Safiri platform and pilot testing to validate Safiri’s effectiveness with real-world users, thereby accelerating e-mobility adoption, increasing profits for drivers, and validating the business model.
